Securing philanthropic resources can be a critical determining factor to a cybersecurity clinic’s ability to launch and develop successfully. Fortunately, the clinic model’s unique construct has proven effective in attracting generous support from individuals, foundations, industry, and government funders.
The Fundraising Subcommittee of the Consortium of Cybersecurity Clinics* has assembled a range of “Fundraising 101” resources below to help those new to the field build fundraising skills and further propel the Consortium’s vision of a clinic in every U.S. state by 2030.
A more robust and customized “Cybersecurity Clinic Fundraising Toolkit” has also been developed to support cyber clinic prospect identification, case development, and work with funders. The toolkit is available to institutional members of the Consortium and is shared as part of new member onboarding.
